Blood alcohol content (BAC) is one of the, if not the most, important factors in determining the guilt of a driving under the influence (DUI) suspect. It is, after all, the scientific basis in which a person can be judged as either drunk or had just a little drink before going on his or her way. Without this basis, people may be falsely judged according to their outward behavior. The verdict may be solely dependent on what the arresting officer says and what the suspect has to say plus the field sobriety test result.
